Paired glasses can’t connect to the app?

If your Looktech AI Glasses have been paired before but can’t reconnect to the app, follow these steps to fix the issue.

1. Make Sure the Glasses Are Turned On

Press the Capture Button on the right temple once.

  • If the glasses take a photo, they are already on.

  • If nothing happens, the glasses will power on automatically, and the indicator light will flash white.

2. Restart the Glasses

If the glasses are on but still not connecting, press and hold both the AI Button and Capture Button for 3 seconds to power off. Then press the Capture Button again to turn them back on.

3. Charge the Glasses

If there is no response at all, the battery may be drained out.

Connect the glasses to the charging clip or place them in the charging case for at least 20 minutes, then try again.

4. Restart the App

If the steps above don’t work:

  • Turn off Bluetooth, wait about 5 seconds, then turn it back on.

  • Close the Looktech app completely and reopen it.

  • Keep your glasses as close as possible to your phone.

  • Stay away from other active Bluetooth devices that could cause interference.

  • Make sure Bluetooth and network permissions are enabled when prompted.

5. Restart Your Phone

If the steps above don’t work, a full phone restart can refresh Bluetooth and background processes that might prevent the glasses from connecting. Try again after you restart your phone.

6. Unpair and Reconnect the Glasses

If the steps above don’t work:

  1. Go to Looktech app, tap the glasses in the Home page to go to setttings.

  2. Go to General and Unpair to disconnect the glasses from the app.

  3. Go to your phone’s Settings - Bluetooth, find Looktech, and tap the info ⓘ icon and select Forget This Device.

  4. Press the Capture Button on the right temple 3 times quickly. The indicator light will stay solid blue. Within 10 seconds, press and hold the Capture Button for 5 seconds. The indicator light will flash blue rapidly, which means the glasses are ready to pair.

  5. Reopen the Looktech app and repeat the pairing steps.
