Glasses not showing up in the Looktech app

Power on the glasses, make sure they are in pairing mode, and keep them close to your phone if the app cannot find them.

If the Looktech app cannot find your glasses, the most common causes are that the glasses are off, not in pairing mode, or too far from the phone.


Power on the glasses

Press the Capture Button once.

Wait a few seconds for the working indicator to turn on.

If nothing happens, charge the glasses for at least 15 minutes and try again.


Confirm the glasses are in pairing mode

If the glasses have never been paired with a phone before, they should enter pairing mode automatically after power-on.

The pairing indicator should flash blue.

If the glasses were paired before and the light is not flashing blue, enter pairing mode manually.


Enter pairing mode manually

  1. Press the Capture Button 3 times. The light turns solid blue.

  2. Within 10 seconds, press and hold the Capture Button.

  3. Keep holding until the light flashes blue.

If the indicator still does not respond, charge the glasses first and try again.


Retry the search with the phone nearby

Keep the glasses close to your phone while the app searches.

Use these checks:

  • make sure the indicator is flashing blue

  • keep the glasses close to the phone

  • move away from other Bluetooth devices if possible

  • wait up to about a minute for the search to finish

If the app still cannot find the glasses, charge them for at least 15 minutes and try again.


Pair when the device appears

When the glasses appear in the app:

  • Confirm the device name matches your glasses.

  • Keep the glasses near your phone until pairing completes.


Report the issue in the app

If the glasses still do not appear in the app, report the issue in the app through Settings -> Report an Issue. You can also see How to report an issue for the full reporting flow.
