If your glasses appear in the Looktech app but pairing still fails, please try the following steps in order:
1. Reset Bluetooth Connection
Restart your phone’s Bluetooth.
If Looktech appears in the list of connected devices, tap ⓘ and select Forget This Device.
2. Check Phone Settings
On Android, make sure the Looktech app has Location Permission enabled:
Go to Settings - Location - App location permissions - Looktech - Allow all the time.
Move away from other active Bluetooth devices to avoid interference.
3. Restart the Glasses
Press and hold both the AI Button and Capture Button for 3 seconds to power off.
Press the Capture Button once to power on. The indicator light will turn blue.
4. Enter Pairing Mode Manually
Press the Capture Button 3 times quickly. The indicator light will stay solid blue.
Within 10 seconds, press and hold the Capture Button for 5 seconds until the light flashes blue rapidly.
This means the glasses are ready to pair with the app.
5. Restart the App
Quit and reopen the Looktech app.
Start the pairing process again and keep the glasses within 1 meter of your phone.
6. Restore Factory Settings (if the above steps fail)
⚠️ Note: This will erase all data stored on your glasses.
Quickly press the AI Button 5 times. The indicator light will turn solid red.
Within 10 seconds, press and hold the AI Button for 5 seconds until the red light flashes. Don't release the button before you see the indicator flash red. Pressing other buttons will exit this process.
After reset, the indicator will flash blue, and the glasses are ready to pair.
