Sometimes you may need to reset your glasses back to their original factory state. A factory reset can be helpful when:
You plan to give or sell the glasses to someone else.
You have connection issues between the glasses and the app/phone.
The device behaves abnormally and basic troubleshooting doesn’t help.
You simply want to start fresh with a clean setup.
Note: This will erase all data stored on your glasses.
Option 1: Factory Reset from the App (Recommended)
If your glasses are still connected to the app, this is the easiest and safest way:
Make sure your glasses are powered on and connected to your phone.
Open the Looktech app.
Go to Device Settings → General.
Tap Factory Reset.
Confirm the reset when prompted in the app.
After this, go to the home page to follow the on-screen instructions to set up your glasses again if needed.
Option 2: Factory Reset Using the AI Button (When the App Cannot Connect)
If your glasses cannot connect to the app (for example, Bluetooth issues or pairing problems), you can reset them directly using the AI Button.
Quickly press the AI Button 5 times. The indicator light will turn solid red.
Within 10 seconds, press and hold the AI Button for 5 seconds
Keep holding until the red light starts flashing.
Do not release the button before you see the indicator flash red.
Pressing other buttons during this process will cancel the reset.
After the reset is complete, the indicator will flash blue, and the glasses are ready to pair again.
You can now open the Looktech app, go through the setup flow, and pair your glasses as if they were new.
