If a firmware update fails, the most common causes are an unstable network or the app leaving the foreground during the update.
Check the network and app state
Make sure your phone is on a stable Wi-Fi network.
Do not switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data during the update.
Keep the Looktech app open and keep the phone unlocked until the update finishes.
Retry the update
Close the Looktech app completely.
Reopen the app.
Restart the glasses:
Hold the AI Button and Capture Button together for 3 seconds to power off.
Press the Capture Button once to turn them back on.
Then start the firmware update again in the app.
Switch networks and try again
Restart your router.
Switch to another stable Wi-Fi network.
Then try the update again.
Report the issue in the app
If the update still fails, report the issue in the app through Settings -> Report an Issue. You can also see How to report an issue for the full reporting flow.
