Use Translate when you need live help with an in-person conversation, lecture, talk, or meeting in another language.
Start Translate
Open the Looktech app and go to Translate from Home.
Choose Conversation for two-way translation during an in-person conversation.
Choose Listening for one-way translation through your glasses during lectures, talks, or meetings.
Choose two different languages for the session.
Tap Start Translation.
If a translation is already running, use the Home entry to return to it.
Read translated text
Translated text appears while people speak. The text may keep updating as the app receives more speech.
Use the translation screen menu when you want to adjust the reading view:
Small, Standard, or Large changes the text size.
Show original text shows or hides the original speech text.
End and review later
End the session when you are finished. Saved sessions appear in History after they end.
Open the menu on the Translate screen and tap History to review saved sessions. History is stored locally on your current phone. You can open a saved session to read it again, or delete records you no longer need.
If Translate cannot start
If Translate cannot start:
Make sure your glasses are connected.
Choose two different languages.
Check that your account has enough credits.
Check your phone's network connection, then try again.
If a running session disconnects, reconnect your glasses or network, then start a new session if needed.
