Your Looktech AI Glasses come with a built-in assistant named Memo, powered by GPT-4.1. Memo is designed to help you hands-free — just speak, and it listens.
Here’s how to use it:
1. Wake Up Memo
You can activate Memo in two ways:
Voice Wake-Up: Say “Hey Memo”
Make sure voice wake-up is enabled in the Looktech App > Settings > Data Controls
Button Wake-Up: Press the AI button on the left arm of the glasses
After saying “Hey Memo”, you don’t need to wait for a sound — you can immediately speak your command or question.
2. Ask Anything
Speak naturally right after “Hey Memo.” For example:
“What’s the weather like today?”
“Remind me to take a break in 30 minutes.”
“Translate ‘good morning’ into Spanish.”
“Play next.”
“Take a photo.”
Memo will process your request and respond via the open-ear speakers.
⏳ While Memo is preparing a response, you’ll hear a short loading sound — this means it’s thinking and will reply shortly.
3. Use AI + Camera Together
You can also give combo commands where Memo takes a photo and gives you an answer:
Long press the AI button, or
Say: “Hey Memo, take a picture and tell me ...”
Memo will snap a photo and analyze it with AI to respond — great for features like plant recognition or scene understanding.
4. View Responses and History
If your phone is nearby, you’ll see more than just transcripts:
View full conversation history
Access detailed visual cards for specific features like:
Plant Hunter (shows plant images and info)
Calorie Tracker (log meals and see breakdowns)
Weather (multi-day forecast and current conditions)
This makes Memo both a voice-first and visually rich assistant.
5. Continuous Updates
Memo is constantly improving via OTA (over-the-air) updates — no need to install anything manually. You’ll automatically get new features and smarter performance over time.
