“Hey Memo” lets you control your glasses and get quick help hands-free with natural voice commands.
You can use it to capture moments, ask questions, and save simple memories, without reaching for your phone.
Control your glasses
Photos
“Snap a picture.”
“Take a photo.”
Videos
“Start recording.”
“Take a video.”
You can stop a video recording by waiting for the default duration (30s / 60s / 3min) or by pressing the Capture Button to end it early.
Note: Memo can’t be awakened while recording.
Music & volume
“Play music.”
“Pause music.”
“Next song.”
“Volume up.”
“Volume down.”
Tip: You can control playback (play/pause, next, volume), but you can’t request a specific song by voice yet. You can also use the buttons and Media Crown for the same controls.

Ask Memo to understand what you’re seeing
You can ask Memo to use the camera to help answer questions based on an image.
Examples:

Use Memo as a lightweight memory helper
You can ask Memo to remember simple facts for you and recall them later.

What Memo can’t do yet
We want to be clear about the boundaries so you know what to expect.
Navigation & maps
Memo can search the web for places or general info, but it cannot open maps or plan a turn-by-turn route for you yet.
Example: You can ask “Find coffee shops nearby,” but Memo won’t generate a full driving/walking route inside a map app.
Control other apps
Memo can’t directly open or control other apps (for example, Spotify, YouTube, or your messaging apps) at the moment.
