What can I do with "Hey Memo"

Use "Hey Memo" to control your glasses and get hands-free help with questions, memory, and what you see.

"Hey Memo" lets you use your glasses hands-free for capture, media control, questions, quick memory, and camera-assisted help.

Control photos and videos

Examples:

  • "Snap a picture."

  • "Take a photo."

  • "Start recording."

  • "Take a video."

To stop a video early, press the Capture Button. Otherwise, it ends at the configured default length.

Memo cannot be awakened while the glasses are already recording.

Control music and volume

Examples:

  • "Play music."

  • "Pause music."

  • "Next song."

  • "Volume up."

  • "Volume down."

Memo can control playback, and you can use the buttons and Media Crown for the same controls.

Ask general questions

Examples:

  • "What's the weather today?"

  • "Any tech news?"

  • "Summarize today's headlines."

  • "Why is the sky blue?"

Ask Memo about what you see

Examples:

  • "What is this?"

  • "Read this label."

  • "What does this sign mean?"

  • "Summarize what's in this picture."

Save and recall simple memories

You can use Memo as a lightweight memory helper.

Examples for saving:

  • "Remember my dog's name is Max."

  • "Remember my flight is tomorrow at 9 AM."

  • "Remember this: I parked on level B2."

Examples for recall:

  • "What did I tell you about Max?"

  • "What did I say about my flight?"

Get help

If Memo does not respond or does not complete a request, report the issue in the app through Settings -> Report an Issue. You can also see How to report an issue for the full reporting flow.
