At Looktech, we believe privacy is fundamental to trust. Every time you interact with Memo or use your AI Glasses, we protect your data through multi-layered encryption and anonymization, ensuring your conversations remain secure and under your control.
1. What Is “Memory”?
Memo uses personalized memory to provide a more intelligent and human-like experience. It remembers essential details you choose to share, such as your preferences, hobbies, or daily routines, so that it can offer more relevant suggestions and reminders in future conversations.
For example:
You say, “I have yoga class every Wednesday.”
Memo remembers: “Yoga class every Wednesday.”
You ask, “I want to buy snacks for Bella.”
Memo recalls: “Bella is your cat who loves fish,” and recommends accordingly.
2. How Memory Works
Memory creation
Key information is automatically extracted during your conversations to help Memo understand you better.
Encryption and storage
Sensitive data is encrypted locally before being stored or transmitted.
Usage during chat
When Memo communicates with large AI models (like OpenAI or Gemini), encrypted placeholders replace your real personal information.
Decryption after response
Once a response is received, the app decrypts it locally to restore readable content.
This process ensures that even when your data is used to personalize responses, your personal identity remains protected.
3. Example of Encryption
Before sending data to the AI model, Memo replaces personal details with encrypted tokens:
User: “Write my self-introduction.”
Encrypted memory sent:
- Name_SU123
- Location_asd45
- Email_hgf64
The AI processes only the anonymized text.
After the response is received, the Looktech app decrypts it back to:
“Hello, my name is John Doe. I live in New York, and you can email me at [email protected].”
4. Security in the Looktech App
All voice recordings, transcriptions, and personalized settings are encrypted during storage and transmission.
Any Agent app data involving personal information is also encrypted end-to-end.
When an encrypted message appears, you’ll see a privacy lock icon in the app. You can tap it to view the original and encrypted versions — keeping your data transparent and under your control.
5. Our Privacy Principles
We don’t sell your data. Your personal information is never shared for commercial purposes.
Encrypted transmission. All data is protected by TLS encryption during transfer.
Anonymized processing. Data sent to third-party AI models is anonymized and not stored or used for model training.
Secure storage. All stored data is encrypted with AES to prevent unauthorized access.
Full data control. You can view, edit, delete, or export your data anytime.
6. Transparency You Can See
In your chat interface, encrypted content is labeled as Encrypted Response, assuring you that sensitive information has been safely processed. Tapping “Learn more” provides full visibility into how Looktech protects your privacy at every step.
